Setting

Setting is critical in all films. It helps convey the theme of the film, create atmosphere and helps make the story credible. Elements of setting may include culture, historical period, geography and time. Along with plot, theme, and style, setting is considered one the fundamental components of fiction. A setting is the time, place and social environment in which a story takes place.
