Problems:
The image isn't in the centre of the screen, I had problems trying to move it, but will learn again later to make it the best I can.
I done this by choosing a coloured background then on another page having the image, using the 'Elliptical marquee tool', holding shift to get a perfect circle cutting around the chosen part of my image, in this case, Daniel in the middle of the road. I wanted to get a bit of his surroundings in the image too.
After a circle appears around the image go to 'select' and 'inverse' so that part of the photo is stuck to the background and will not be removed. After thats completed go to the 'rubber' and 'background eraser tool' start selecting areas around the circle, it doesn't matter if you accidentally select what inside the circle because it won't disappear. Then go to the actual 'eraser tool' and start rubbing out the rest of the background.
Then duplicate that layer, and drag the second copy onto the colour background which was on another tab. I adjusted the size and position of the image then, added text and a small border around the image.
This was a very simple attempt at an album cover, i learnt a new skill and that was how to cut out a circle from an image. When it comes to my real album cover will take a lot more time on it and be very careful.
