
Storyboards in professional films are a lot more detailed with perfect timings so the movies work out properly. They are timed to the second, so the director and cast know exactly what to do, and whats going to happen.
Storyboard is defined as:
'A panel or series of panels on which a set of sketches is arranged depicting consecutively the important changes of scene and action in a series of shots ( as for a film, television show or commercial)'

This is a very small part of the Jurassic Park (1993) storyboard, it has 8 images which probably adds up to roughly 10 seconds of footage. Each scene would need a storyboard, taking a significantly long time to accurately create.
